The position of Station Manager has recently become available at Bute FM and we are inviting applications both internally and externally.
Hours: 30 per week (flexible – in office or at home) + On-call for all hours of broadcast
Salary: £0 (Equivalent to 2011 salary)
Roles and responsibilities: to be discussed at interview

It is Bute FM’s aim to be a community serving, community operated, community radio station for the community of Bute abiding by our Key Commitments and the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
Should you have a complaint about anything you have heard on Bute FM or a complaint about our service please write in the first instance to Complaints, Bute FM, Top Floor, 7 Castle Street, Rothesay, Isle of Bute, PA20 9HA
Each complaint will be investigated in accordance with our Complaints Procedure and where appropriate a clarification and/or apology will be forthcoming as soon as possible.
Volunteer
Bute FM, like all community radio stations, is for the community: by the community, so we need to be able to utilise all the talented people at our community’s disposal to be the best that we can. That is why we need your help!
We have lots of volunteering opportunities at Bute FM including:
Presenters
Researchers and producers
Technicians
Administrators
Website designers / graphic designers
Publicity and marketing
Once you become a volunteer you will gain access to training opportunities, you will become a member of the organisation, you will receive station updates and you will be able to have your voice heard by the local community!
Additionally, we are also looking for volunteers with experience in:
Marketing and communication
Finance / business management
Legal / business management
Networking and community development
Fundraising / applying for grants
Broadcasting
